Draft — the text below is written from the platform's rules and awaits legal review. Until then it says what the platform does; it is not legal advice.
1. What the platform is
FacPractica is an online service that publishes companies' placement listings and lets students and pupils apply to them. The platform puts the two sides in contact and is not a party to any contract, placement agreement or arrangement concluded between them.
2. The account
- A student account is personal and can be created from the age of 18. An e-mail address belongs either to a student account or to a company account, not both.
- A company account belongs to the organisation; the person who creates it answers for the sign-up details and can hand the account to a colleague.
- You are responsible for your password and for what is done from your account. You can close the account any time from the settings.
3. For companies
- Every company is checked before anything about it is public; every listing is read before publication, until the company is marked as trusted. We may refuse or withdraw a listing or an account that does not follow these rules, owing no explanation beyond the reason.
- A listing states truthfully whether the placement is paid, and what it involves.
- Applications are answered. Unanswered applications are reminded; after the reminders the candidate sees "no answer". A listing with too many unanswered applications (10 waiting for more than 14 days) stops taking new ones until they are answered. A listing cannot be closed while candidates are waiting for an answer.
- How quickly and how often a company answers may be shown on its public page and on its listings.
- A candidate's data may be used only for that recruitment and may not be kept or passed on once it is over. The company's access to an ended application stops after 30 days.
- A listing expires on its date or after 60 days and can be extended.
4. For students
- What you put in your profile and applications is true and your own.
- Every application carries a message you wrote for that listing.
- Your profile is visible only to the companies you apply to, until you choose otherwise.
5. Content and conduct
Misleading, discriminatory, unlawful listings or messages, or ones unrelated to practical placements, are not allowed. We may withdraw any such content and close the accounts that publish it.
6. Personal data
How we process data is described in the privacy notice, which is part of these terms.
7. Liability
The platform is offered as it is. We do not guarantee that a listing leads to a placement or that an application gets an answer; we do what is described above to make that happen. We are not liable for the arrangements between companies and students.
8. Changes
We may change these terms; the version in force is the one on this page, with its date. Important changes are announced in the account before they apply.
